The Southern Cancer Society is welcoming people suffering from cancer and their whanau to their new Methven Clinic, at ihub Methven.
Ashburton cancer navigator Mandy Wallace said the society’s ambition was to ease the way for families on their cancer journey and to make support and information easily accessible.
“The clinic helps imbed us in the community and opens opportunities for people to drop in and seek support when they need it.
“Everyone’s welcome and I’m really looking forward to meeting you all,” Mandy said.
She said people could make an appointment or just drop in. The clinic could provide information on supporting therapies and groups, early detection and prevention, and provide information on individual cancers and what support is available.
